We are a private foundation and changed our name approximately 10 years ago. We ran a campaign in the local paper requesting suggestions for a new name. The winner, or winners in our case, would receive a $5,000 contribution to a charity of their choice. Each of the three individuals who submitted the name "Cornerstone Foundation" received $5,000. We had over 1,500 submissions! It was a fun process and it gave us great publicity at the same time.

Sheri Prosser is the Vice President of the board of the Cornerstone Foundation, which has been an ASF member since 1999.
