Outdoor Excursion: Get Out, Get Active, Get Connected
Cap off the National Conference with an outdoor adventure—hiking or rock-climbing—led by Phoenix Multisport, a nonprofit founded by ASF next generation member Scott Strode of “The Woods” Charitable Foundation. See the famous redwoods on a 2-3 mile hike in the famous Muir Woods National Monument, located 12 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Or, go rock-climbing, which will be either at Mount Tamalpais State Park or at Split Rock in Corte Madera (it may involve a half-mile hike to the climbing area).
Preregistration and additional fee required. Limited space available. Appropriate for beginning to moderate-level climbers, no experience necessary. Phoenix will provide all the necessary gear and instruction. Meet in hotel lobby. Watch video below for more on Phoenix Multisport and its mission.
