Breaking Through the Clutter: Scanning in the Digital AgeTuesday, June 26, 2012 Webinar |
1:00 - 2:00 p.m. ET
A recent New York Times article noted that data is "growing at 50 percent, more than doubling every two years." A foundation colleague observed that "data of all types are now so broadly accessible that it can be almost overwhelming."
How do you break through old and new media clutter to focus on what matters? How can you take advantage of technology to streamline your learning? Drawing upon examples from funder colleagues, this webinar will offer tips and tools to help you:
- Follow developments in your areas of interest easily
- Track trends
- Find potential funding partners
Our speaker is Lisa Philp, the vice president for strategic philanthropy and director of GrantCraft, Foundation Center since October 2011. Previously, Lisa served as global head of philanthropic services for the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, program officer for youth development and education at The Robin Hood Foundation, and as director of communications and government relations at Philanthropy New York.
