ASF’s signature Foundation Operations and Management Report is the tool for small foundation benchmarking. It contains 50 pages of data and commentary on small foundation administration, grantmaking, boards, and investments.

Our Foundation Salary and Benefits Report is available as a complimentary download to members. For non-members, it comes as a supplement to our Foundation Operations and Management Report.

We divide our research into two parts: a Salary and Benefits Survey (January-February) and an Operations and Management Survey (May-June). By isolating the salary and benefits components, we are able to collect data and report back on those topics much earlier in the year, as requested by our members.
